GEORGIAN BAY SPIRIT CO. LAUNCHES NEW VISUAL BRAND IDENTITY IN CELEBRATION OF OUR 10th ANNIVERSARY
We started out small, developing recipes in co-founder Denny Wadds’ kitchen using a coffee siphon to replicate vapour infusion of various botanical blends. Since then, we have grown from a team of 2 to over 50 employees across Canada. We have gone from experimenting with micro batches of gin to developing and shipping hundreds of thousands of litres of spirits a year at our distillery in Collingwood. We have sold over 80,000,000 cans of our ready-to-drink products since the launch of Gin Smash in 2016. We changed our name Georgian Bay Spirit Co when we launched our Gin Smash. A decade later, it seems fitting to announce our new company name, Georgian Bay Beverage Co., which better reflects our ever-expanding mix of products and brands.
As part of our 10th anniversary, we have several exciting announcements to share.
We have launched a new visual brand identity for our ready-to-drink line-up of beverages this year.
The fresh-looking new cans are part of an update across our entire portfolio to help consumers better identify our different products and flavours. The new visual brand identity (VBI) is designed to help consumers identify different lines and flavours at a glance, while bringing a fresh and contemporary new look to the brand. Bold colours and large text differentiate each product line and distinct flavour bands at the top each of can help to identify flavours within each product line. The new VBI also brings our entire family of Georgian Bay ready-to-drink products under the same look and feel, making our products stand out clearly on shelf.
We are also thrilled to announce that we are expanding our portfolio by launching some new brands:
Wyatt Rose Ranch Water, BFF Beverages, Side Door Ready-Made Cocktails, and Broken Compass Hard Tea.
These brands allow us to reach a broader demographic across the country.
We are excited for what the future holds in the beverage industry and know Georgian Bay Beverage Co. is poised to take on the next decade.
