CONTEST RULES & REGULATIONS

SPONSOR

This contest (the Contest) is sponsored by Georgian Bay Spirit Co. (the "Sponsor"), of 395 Raglan St. Unit 2-D Collingwood, ON L9Y 3Z1

ELIGIBILITY

To enter and be eligible to win, an entrant must be an individual who is a legal resident of the Province of British Columbia and who has reached the legal drinking age according to the law of the province in which they are resident, on or before June 23, 2025. The Contest is not open to any employee of, nor to any person domiciled with an employee of, the Sponsor or any of the Sponsor's advertising or promotional agencies, any participating stores or the prize suppliers. Employees and contractors of liquor distribution agencies, The Provincial Liquor Agencies, liquor licensees, their employees and members of the immediate families of the aforementioned or persons with whom they are domiciled are not eligible. THE CONTEST IS VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW, and is subject to all applicable Federal, Provincial and Municipal laws. 

HOW TO ENTER

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. The Contest must be entered through Instagram. The entry must fulfill all Contest requirements, as specified in the June 23, 2025 post on the @WyattRoseRanchWater Instagram account, to be eligible to win a prize. Entries that are incomplete or do not adhere to the rules or specifications may be disqualified at the sole discretion of Sponsor. If you use fraudulent methods or otherwise attempt to circumvent the rules, your submission may be removed from eligibility at the sole discretion of Sponsor.

ENTRY DEADLINE

The Contest begins on Monday, June 23, 2025 (00:00:01, PST) and ends on Friday, June 27, 2025 (23:59:59, PST). No entry may be submitted after the end of the Contest and no entry received by the Sponsor after that time will be valid. 

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY

NO PURCHASE IS NECESSARY IN ORDER TO ENTER THE CONTEST OR BECOME ELIGIBLE TO WIN. A PURCHASE WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR ODDS OF WINNING.

PRIZES

There will be one (1) Prize awarded at the end of the Contest Period which will consist of two (2) general admission weekend passes and one (1) Wyatt Rose Prize Pack. Total value of grand prize is approximately $800.00 CAD. 

All income and other taxes relating to the prize are the sole responsibilities of the winner. Prizes must be accepted by the winner as awarded, and is not transferable. No cash value will be given for a prize and no substitutions will be made for a prize (and without limiting the foregoing, prizes may not be sold or traded). In the event of the unavailability of all or any component or portion of the prize, the Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a prize, or a component or portion of the prize, of equal or greater value. Prize arrangements will be made directly with the winners and the prize must be accepted as awarded on an “as is” basis and is non-transferable. There will be no cash or other substitution for the prize except at the option of Georgian Bay Spirit Co., in the event of unavailability. From the date of notification, the entrants will have until July 7, 2025 to claim their prize at which point it will become null and void. 

METHOD OF SELECTION

A random selection to determine the potential prize winner will be made by the Sponsor (either by one of its employees or, at its option, by an independent judging organization) in Toronto, Ontario on Monday, June 30 at approximately 10:00 a.m. (EST), from among all eligible entries received. The method of selection may, at the Sponsor's discretion, be through a computer-generated selection from an electronic database containing all of the eligible entries, or in such other manner as the Sponsor reasonably determines such that all eligible entries will have an equal chance of being selected. The person conducting the random selection will act as judge and their decisions as to eligibility and the selection process to be employed will be final. The entrant(s) whose entry is so selected must, in order to become the winner, correctly answer, unaided, a mathematical skill-testing question, complete, sign and return the Declaration and Release described below, and comply with all of the other Contest rules. If they fail to do so then another random selection of a potential winner will be conducted, and this process will be repeated until each winner is declared. 

ODDS

The odds of being selected as a potential winner will depend upon the total number of eligible entries received prior to the close of the Contest.

DECLARATION AND RELEASE

Before being declared a winner, the selected entrant(s) will be required to sign and return (on or before Monday July 7, 2025) the Sponsor's declaration and release document in a form acceptable to the British Columbia Liquor Distribution Branch (BCLDB) and the BC Liquor & Cannabis Regulation Branch, under which the selected entrant: 

  1. represents and warrants that he or she is the authorized account holder of the e-mail address associated with the selected entry, was the person who submitted the selected entry, was eligible to enter the Contest and has complied with all of the Contest rules; 

  1. releases the Sponsor and all of its subsidiary and affiliated companies and all The Provincial Liquor Agencies and their respective directors, officers, employees and agents from all liability (including property damage, personal injury, accident, loss or misfortune) of any kind in connection with the Contest, or occurring as a result of the prize being awarded or any travel related thereto; 

  1. confirms their acceptance of the prize as awarded; and 

  1. agrees to the use, without compensation, of their name, photograph, filmed or recorded image, name and city of residence in all publicity campaigns related to the contest, including on the Sponsor's website. 

COMPLIANCE WITH RULES

Failure to comply with any of the Contest rules will result in disqualification. Persons tampering with or abusing any entry mechanisms or policies will be disqualified.

GENERAL

All entries become the property of the Sponsor and will not be returned. Entries will be rejected if not fully completed. The Sponsor reserves the right to modify, suspend or terminate this Contest and will have no liability whatsoever if for any reason the Contest is not capable of running as planned, due to Technical Problems or for other reasons beyond the reasonable control of the Sponsor.

LIMITATION OF LIABILITY

By entering, You agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its subsidiaries, affiliates, advertising and promotion agencies, partners, representatives, agents, successors, assigns, employees, officers, and directors from any liability, illness, injury, death, loss, litigation, claim, or damage that may occur, directly or indirectly, whether caused by negligence or not, from: (i) such entrant’s participation in the Contest and/or his/her acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize or any portion thereof; (ii) technical failures of any kind, including but not limited to the malfunction of any computer, cable, network, hardware, or software, or other mechanical equipment; (iii) the unavailability or inaccessibility of any transmissions, telephone, or Internet service; (iv) unauthorized human intervention in any part of the entry process or the Promotion; (v) electronic or human error in the administration of the Promotion or the processing of entries.   

DISPUTES

THIS CONTEST IS GOVERNED BY THE LAWS OF [Canada] AND [Ontario], WITHOUT RESPECT TO CONFLICT OF LAW DOCTRINES. As a condition of participating in this Contest, participant agrees that any and all disputes that cannot be resolved between the parties, and causes of action arising out of or connected with this Contest, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, exclusively before a court located in [Ontario] having jurisdiction. Further, in any such dispute, under no circumstances shall participant be permitted to obtain awards for, and hereby waives all rights to, punitive, incidental, or consequential damages, including reasonable attorney’s fees, other than participant’s actual out-of-pocket expenses (i.e. costs associated with entering this Contest). Participant further waives all rights to have damages multiplied or increased.   

BCLDB DISCLAIMER

The British Columbia Liquor Distribution Branch and the BC Liquor & Cannabis Regulation Branch are not connected with this Contest in any manner whatsoever and is not liable in any way whatsoever in regard to any matter which relates to or arises from the Contest.

PRIVACY

We respect your privacy. All information collected is for Contest and research purposes only unless otherwise specified and will remain the property of the Sponsor. No e-mail addresses or personal information collected will be shared, in any way, with any other parties.

INSTAGRAM

The Contest hosted by Sponsor is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram and/or any social media platforms on which the Contest may have been promoted and/or publicized. You acknowledge that Instagram bears no responsibility for this promotion and that Instagram bears no liability whatsoever with this promotion. You understand that you are providing information to the Sponsor and not to Instagram. Any questions, comments or complaints regarding the Contest must be directed to the Sponsor.
